On February 17 in Ryazan 17-year-old sambo athlete repeated her champion achievement at the tournament among junior girls. In the competition with her older opponents Anastasia has completed all preliminary bouts using painful holds and showed very confident fighting in the victorious final.

Almost two weeks ago in Astrakhan I was the first among girls. I did not lose my weight before youth competitions and decided to participate in the heavier category. I feel good and full of energy. I thank my coach Yuri Arkadievich Sinko for support.”

“How did I turn onto sambo? My brother went in for this sport. He had been always showing me something after his trainings, it was interesting for me, and I went for training too,” shared Anastasia with her memories. And she specified her goals, “Now I want to show the results at the World Championship. However, we have not decided in what age category.”
